The goal was to give this family room a fresh, timeless update while creating a more comfortable place to gather. Painting the original brick and reworking the built-ins dramatically lightened the room, while a new furniture plan restored the fireplace as the focal point and improved the flow. Warm wood, sculptural forms and layered textiles bring warmth, texture and personality.
